Mission: redemption at Gontranno
Objectives
- Kill all Sergei Zavorotko’s bodyguards
- Save Vittorio by killing Sergei

There’s no way of completing this mission without taking out one hell of a lot of guards! It also takes place at night so be especially vigilant and time your movements carefully.

When the two patrolling guards on the east side of the courtyard start to move northwards, carefully make your way behind the southeastern column. Of the two guards, only one has a chance of spotting you. Sneak carefully behind the slower of the two guards as he continues to make his way northwards. When you reach the doors to your east open them carefully and sneak through. Make sure the second guard doesn’t spot you while you’re doing this! Close the doors after you and head right until you reach the ledge. Jump down into the garden area.

Watch out for the patrolling guard at the bottom of the stairs. Position yourself behind him and quickly use your fibre wire. Try to avoid being spotted by the nearby sniper. Now drag the body into a suitable hiding place and take all of his possessions. Make your way to the weapon shed and take all the silenced weapons. Stand in the shed doorway and use your crossbow on the sniper, who should be hiding near the ruins area to your northwest where you learned to climb at the start of the game. Make your way carefully to the ruins and once again, time your movements to avoid being spotted by patrolling guards. When you’re amongst the ruins take a shot at the guard near the courtyard door using a silenced weapon. Quickly make your way to the door and then use your map to see when the other guard (on the other side of the courtyard door) is facing away from you. Open the door and shoot him. Now hide and wait for the second guard to spot the body of his fallen comrade. Kill him as soon as he runs over to check it out.

Now head back to the garden area and make your way towards the door which stands between Number 47’s living quarters and the ruins. Kill him, move up the stairs and pick the lock to enter the northwestern room. Take the church key, head back to the garden area and take a right. To the north of the shed there’s a concealed door. Open it and sneak up the stairs.

Head towards the door on the right of the stairs. Position yourself on the left-hand side of the doorway and open the door. Carefully take out the guard standing with his back towards you and watch out for the sniper while doing this.

Now open the door on the left-hand side of the stairs and kill the two guards. Head back down the stairs and open the left-hand door. Kill the guard using a fibre wire.

Now take out the guard to your south and move to the western doorway. Take out a weapon and open the door, kill the guard facing you. Head up the stairs and open the left-hand door. Shoot the next guard (the one with his back towards you) and then equip a rifle. Move very carefully towards the stairs and use your scope to spot the sniper ahead of you. Once you’ve killed him go into a crouch and carefully move through the other door. Shoot the sniper to your northeast and then head back down to the door at the left-hand side of the stairs. Go into a crouch and carefully move through the doorway, keeping to the western side of the room.

Carefully take out all the remaining guards in the church hall. When the last one is dead watch the cut scene and make your way towards the confessional box. Aim a weapon at the coloured glass panel in the confessional box and fire. Sergei should now be dead.
